We are writing to inform you that the pictures you submitted to the 10th edition of the Luis Valtueña International Humanitarian Photography Award have been short-listed to be part of an exhibition that will be touring Spain and other European countries during the next two years.

The photographs short-listed for this years’ exhibition are:

‘Refugiadas en la ceniza II’, Borja Alegría.
‘Pies de una pequeña explotada’, Seila Montes García.
‘Barrios de barracas: de la marginalidad a la extrema miseria I’, Enric Vives-Rubio.
‘Overpopulation in Manilla, The Philippines I, II’, Mad Nissen.
‘The bride´s price I, II, III’, Giovanni Marrozzini .
‘Lebanon’, Farah Nosh.
‘Salida de clase en Gihembe, campo de refugiados Congoleses en Rwanda II’, Sergi Cámara.
‘The team of Hope II’, Olivier Asselin.

The Awards Ceremony will take place in Casa Encendida, Ronda de Valencia 2, 28012 Madrid, on the 24th of January
2007, at 19:30 p.m., where we will open the exhibition of the winner and short-listed pictures. We hope you can attend the ceremony.The exhibition will be displayed in the Casa Encendida from the 24th of January to the 03th of February 2007. After this, the exhibition will be touring Spain and other European countries for at least two years.
